President of Shoily Foundation, A research scientist, a post-doctoral research associate appointed in Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) in Canada, a cyber activist, a web developer, and a proud Canadian-Bangladeshi.

Dr. Dey received his BS in Physics from Shah Jalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. After one year of graduate study in the same department, he moved to the University of Western, Canada, where he earned his master’s degree in Surface Science Physics in 2010, then he moved to University of Waterloo, Canada and earned his PhD in 2003 from the Waterloo Institute For Nanotechnology, Department of Electrical & and Computer Engineering. After completing his PhD, Dr. Dey joined the Waterloo Institute For Nanotechnology, Canada, As research fellow. Dr. Dey then joined in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (Nanotechnology Engineering program) in 2019 as a Research Scientist.
